01 Construction points:
[TPO membrane mechanical fixed roofing system]
TPO membrane roofing systems are generally mechanically fixed. That is, the TPO membrane is laid on the base layer (or the fixed insulation board), and in the adjacent lower membrane overlap area, it is fixed to the base layer with mechanical fastening screws and fixed washers. The overlap is welded by hot air welding to connect the membranes into an integrally sealed waterproof layer. The outer edges of the joints should be sealed with sealant according to project needs.
[Construction Points of Mechanical Fixed Level System]
Base layer: The base layer for laying TPO membrane should be solid, flat, clean and dry. The deformation joint area is first sealed according to the design, and TPO membrane is added as an additional layer.
·TPO membrane pre-laying: Lay the membrane according to the predetermined position. It should be smooth and straight, without twisting or overlapping of adjacent membranes.
·Mechanical fixation of the lower membrane in the overlap area.
·Thermal welding of the overlap area. The width of the overlap area of adjacent coils is generally 150mm (long side). The upper coil covers the mechanical fasteners of the lower coil. Clean the welding area before and after welding the overlap, and then use Use a manual welding gun (or automatic welding machine) to weld evenly.
·Additional waterproofing of typical details: Typical details such as the yin and yang angles on three sides, pipe edges and roots, use non-reinforced TPO water-injection substrate as an additional waterproof layer, and are welded with the main waterproof layer using hot air welding. Vertical facade TPO roll ends are mechanically fixed with metal battens. It is advisable to embed water-stop sealing material on the base layer before fixing, and finally seal it with sealing paste.
[TPO membrane bonding system]
The base layer and the bottom surface of the coil are fully coated with the base adhesive (it can also be applied by dots, strips or empty paving according to the actual situation). Adjacent coils overlap each other and are overlapped by hot air welding. The edges are sealed with sealant. closed. The bonding method is suitable for all types of buildings, construction techniques and key process operations on cement concrete bases, and is the same as all types of polymer waterproofing membranes bonded with adhesives.
