The Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway has one undersea tunnel, the Zhanjiang Bay Undersea Tunnel. The Zhanjiang Bay Undersea Tunnel passes through Zhanjiang Bay with a total length of 9.640km (including 7.352km of shield section, 1.148km of open tunnel and working well section (of which 794m is on the small mileage side) , a single-hole double-track tunnel with a design speed target of 250km/h and 200km/h. The maximum buried depth of the vault is about 31m. , among which the soft soil (soft clay, silty soil, silt) is about 5 to 15m thick. The middle section of the tunnel, which is about 2.5 kilometers in total, goes down to the waters of Zhanjiang Bay, and the rest is the land section.

One of the Yuru products used in this project is polyurethane waterproof coating. Because of its waterproofness, weather resistance and UV resistance, its performance basically does not change in the range of -30°C to 80°C. It has good elongation performance and can adapt to a certain base surface. The wide range of cracking deformation can adapt to different base layers and construction environments, and is suitable for tunnel waterproofing applications. In addition, the project also used Yuru product polyurethane grouting materials. One is hydrophilic polyurethane grouting material, designed to plug joints and cracks in concrete from water infiltration. It has high elongation creates tight seal in moving cracks. One is hydrophobic polyurethane grouting material, large expansion ratio, it is designed to stop water infiltration and fill voids outside a structure or joint and cracks in concrete structures. It can be used in applications with high pressure flowing water. It has water-stopping and leak-proofing reinforcement effect
